BradyPrinter Model 1344 offers Small, Compact Design Ideal for the Lab Bench

MILWAUKEE, WI, March 10-12, 2003 - Brady Worldwide, Inc. today introduced the newest addition to its popular laboratory application labeling line of products-the Bradyprinter model 1344. The Bradyprinter model 1344 features a small, compact design, 300-dots-per-inch print resolution, a wide print width of 4.1", and barcoding capability. It accepts a minimum label length of 0.25"-especially helpful for smaller sample containers. The Bradyprinter model 1344 is intended to meet four current labeling challenges associated with sample container tracking: sizing, legibility, durability and increased information requirements in biotechnology, agricultural, environmental and forensic research applications.

"We designed this printer specifically for laboratory personnel who told us they needed a small benchtop model for laboratory and general-purpose identification," said Jim Gross, Brady Worldwide laboratory market manager. "Its superior printing ability and affordable price are ideal for laboratory applications including vials and tubes, well plates, slides and straws.
